Angela Kornas worked in the swimwear industry for 15 years. From designing supportive shaping swimwear for women to developing patented technical racing suits for the Olympics. One thing that remained consistent in all swimsuit brands, no matter the quality and price point is that the removable bra inserts that came with them were truly horrendous.
Angela discovered that for 25 years, there was no change in insert design. The flimsy pieces of foam mainly caused women frustration with the flipping, shifting and bunching with the grand finale of ending up at the bottom of washing machines.
The decision to go for it
In 2016 she decided that she would figure out how to make inserts better for women everywhere...and she did.
Development and Testing
Using her background, Angela developed and patented the world's first hybrid bra inserts. All of Honey Cloudz's inserts feature a silicone grippy exterior. No adhesive residue on skin and the grip doesn't wear off.
O Magazine gives the stamp of approval
In our first year of launching, Angela reached out to O Magazine and they loved the idea and product.
Growth
Honey Cloudz has grown from 2 products to 13. We are solution obsessed and the first 100% all inserts brand. We're covering all categories from mastectomy to explant, push ups, minimalist to breast balancing. Next year we are releasing breastfeeding.
